Owner, Iyengar Yoga Source
Growing up with parents who studied Iyengar Yoga (and still do in their 80s!) she took to the practice at a young age. Due to congenital knee problems, in her early twenties, after reconstructive knee surgery, she started classes with senior teachers who could help her modify the practice as a means of recovery and a way to avoid future pain. She has been devoted to this practice since her first group class in 1993 and continues to study weekly with Senior Iyengar Yoga Teachers to develop her practice and teaching.
Kathleen's teaching encourages students to practice with enthusiasm, determination & compassion. She is keen to help those with limitations and offers modifications in her classes for common knee, back, and shoulder issues.
