Fall Yoga Retreat
The Pillars of Practice
Exploring the five qualities that uphold progress on the path of yoga
With Kathleen Swanson & Cindy Berliner
Friday, September 19 – Sunday, September 21
Enfield Shaker Museum, Enfield, NH
Step away from the noise and reconnect with what steadies you. The Pillars of Practice is a weekend of Iyengar Yoga at the historic Enfield Shaker Museum, where we’ll explore the five inner supports named in Yoga Sutra I.20:
faith (śraddhā), vigor (vīrya), memory (smṛti), absorption (samādhi), and discernment (prajñā).
Through thoughtful asana, pranayama and quiet reflection, we’ll consider what helps a practice take root—and what allows it to endure.
